So, my mainboard didn’t arrive yesterday. I called up Overclockers and explained the situation, that I ordered the board tuesday and it was due Thursday and hadn’t arrived. Ops Part 2
The PSU also apparently killed my mainboard in its death throes. This displeases me greatly, for the mainboard in question (Abit Fatal1ty AA8XE) is no longer in production, and just out of warrenty. Furthermore, the replacement PSU doesn’t fit in the case I have. This is troublesome, and not what I need right now.
Ops
My computer’s PSU got fried. Makes a high-pitched electronic squeal everytime it’s plugged into power now. This is unfortunate, and there’s no other recourse save to source another PSU and hope that my mainboard hasn’t been fried in the process.
